Ryan Reynolds has an earnest response when asked about Hugh Jackman's Deadpool 3 training. Deadpool 3 marks the first time that Reynolds stars as Wade Wilson in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with the hero joining the MCU after Marvel parent company Disney bought Fox and the rights to a number of Marvel characters reverted to the control of Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
“I’m trying… Hugh Jackman is a beast, you know? He’s clearly obsessed with his own body. So, keeping up with someone who’s that diligent is going to be challenging. But, yeah it’s been fun. I mean, he and I are both really excited. We’ve wanted to do this for a decade. So, to have this opportunity now is, I think weirdly, the perfect time."
