A huge Maine coon cat named Indigo has been winning hearts online due to his size—he sometimes gets mistaken for a dog!
According to Kuya Kim on Thursday's "24 Oras," the fur baby is owned by Zaide Javile from Bacolod City.
Indigo attracts a lot of attention as a big feline, but Zaide said he could not help but sometimes worry about how people could react upon seeing him. "There are times na nasa-starstruck talaga sila na ang laki-laking pusa. Sometimes natatakot din kasi baka mamaya mapagkamalan na wild cat or anything," he said.Known as gentle giants, Maine coons can weigh up from 13 to 18 pounds for males and eight to 12 pounds for females."'Yung kanilang balahibo parang... water-proof sila, 'di siya ganun kadaling mabasa," said Dr. Vanessa Ong, a veterinarian. "So kailangan ding i-brush siya para 'di madaling masira.
