The show uses Aimee’s assault to bridge a divide between multiple female characters of all ethnicities, from differing backgrounds to paint a picture of how universal the problem really is. Characters like Maeve , Ola , Lily , Olivia and newcomer Viv , each share their own experiences with sexual assault in its kaleidoscope of forms.
