Comedy actor Melissa McCarthy recalled how playing Chris Farley on Saturday Night Live almost went horribly wrong. NBC's long-running variety show has sported a vast fluctuating cast of repertory and featured players since its inception in 1975. One prominent member of the cast was Chris Farley, an improvisational actor who served on Saturday Night Live from 1990-1995.

McCarthy admitted she had an "out of body" experience just before going on stage, recalling the assistance of a helpful crew member.
