London Tech Week 2019 saw the launch of the first European Women in Tech cohort organized by the British Embassy in Paris and the U.K. Department of International Trade. This great initiative brought together 35 female founders from across 16 European nations, invited to attend several events at London Tech Week.

There were companies from FinTech to EdTech and food to luxury retail. The initiative invited them to events such as CreaTech, which brought together 400 of the most influential players in the technology and creative industries, CogX, the festival of AI and Emerging Tech and workshops with VC in FinTech and Professional Services. The initiative organized several networking events with fellow founders, investors, government officials, and other movers and shakers in London.
