President Biden slammed Tucker Carlson for his recent coverage that attempted to downplay the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. 'More than 140 officers were injured on Jan 6. I’ve said before: How dare anyone diminish or deny the hell they went through?'

"More than 140 officers were injured on Jan 6. I’ve said before: How dare anyone diminish or deny the hell they went through?" Biden said."I stand with the Capitol Police. I hope House Republicans feel ashamed for what was done to undermine our law enforcement."

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre called Carlson out by name and said the administration agrees with U.S. Capitol Police Chief Tom Stanger and lawmakers from both parties who have condemned his depiction of Jan. 6. She added:"To have said what he said, when we saw Capitol police officers lose their lives, it's just shameful."
