Every Houston Texan fan that pays attention to NFL free agency has their own shopping list, with a pecking order or priority"purchases" during the red hot early phase of free agency. When you add up the rise of C.J. Stroud with simple geography, it's easy to see why many Texans fans out there would like to see the team make a run at Tampa Bay wide receiver, and Galveston native, Mike Evans.
Understandably, as the greatest receiver in the franchise's history, Tampa Bay would like to hang onto Evans, but to this point, the two sides have been unable to arrive at a deal. On Monday afternoon, Dianna Russini ofToday is the day that could save the Bucs some money by resigning All-Pro WR Mike Evans. However, that deal won’t happen today. Look for the two sides to continue to negotiate in good faith as they work towards the start of free agency.
