Houston's Marcus Sasser leaves AAC tourney semifinal with apparent injury
FORT WORTH — University of Houston All-American guard Marcus Sasser left Saturday's game late in the first half with a groin strain.
Sasser, the AAC's player of the year, was injured with 6:57 left in the first half when he made a move to his left and slipped to the floor. He walked off the court and was taken to the locker room for treatment.
