Fertitta is the sole owner and CEO of Fertitta Entertainment Inc., which owns the restaurant group Landry's Inc., the Houston Rockets, and the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casinos. He first became a limited partner with the Rockets in 1986 before purchasing the team in 2017.$5.5 billion bid to purchase the NFL's Washington CommandersA Galveston native, Fertitta grew his fortune acquiring businesses in the 1990s through the mid-2000s, including Landry's.
