Diamond Ealey-Carter calls playing basketball her passion.

The Houston County senior will get to continue playing her passionate sport after signing a scholarship to play for the Enterprise State Community Boll Weevils.

A dynamic playmaking point guard with a strong ability to score, the Lions’ senior was glad to stay close to home for college ball, especially with the needs of her nine-and-a half month daughter, Amara. “She is a great ball handler, has a great 3-point shot, a great mid-range game and the leadership she brings to the team is outstanding,” Nelson said.

“I feel my best skill is getting down the court in time and making sure I can see everybody on the court, pass the ball and be the point whenever I get the chance to and to make shots,” Ealey-Carter said.
