The House of Representatives QuadComm has issued a show cause order to Mylah Roque, the wife of former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, for failing to appear in the inquiry on alleged involvement in the operations of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO).
The House of Representatives QuadComm has issued a show cause order to Mylah Roque, the wife of former presidential spokesperson Harry Roque , for failing to show up in the inquiry.Abang Lingkod Representative Joseph Stephen Paduano said the motion was approved by the panels without objections.Paduano said Mylah "has been invited to the previous hearing" on their alleged involvement in the operations of the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators .
On September 16, Harry accused Congress of “power tripping” following contempt and arrest orders issued against him due to his alleged connection to POGO.“Hindi ako pugante dahil ako po ay lumabag sa batas. Pugante ako sa Kongreso lamang, wala po akong pakialam. Dahil ang tingin ko naman kung ay na-cite in contempt of Congress, ang Kongreso naman po ay cited in contempt of the people of the Philippines,” the lawyer said in a live video posted on Facebook.
