The Speaker Martin Romualdez-led House of Representatives showed its strongest support for President Marcos during a Christmas event at Malacañang on Dec. 4. Speaker Romualdez, accompanied by over 200 House members, presented President Marcos with a manifesto of support. They pledged to use their powers to protect the government from destabilization efforts and to safeguard democratic principles and national stability.

This pledge came shortly after Vice President Sara Duterte's threats towards the President and alleged calls for mobilization against the administration
