Another Comfortable Day before Humidity Returns
AT THIS TIME OF YEAR, IF THE WEATHER IS BEHAVING ITSELF, WE SHOULD HAVE A HIGH IN THE MIDDLE 80S. AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TODAY AS WE HIT THE HIGH OF 86. BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. AS YOU KNOW, THE LAST SIX DAYS HITTING HIGHS CLOSE TO 100 ON SATURDAY MID TO UPPER 90S. WE ACTUALLY HAD SEVEN DAYS IN A ROW IN HARRISBURG WHERE THE TEMPERATURE WAS ABOVE 90 DEGREES. AND THAT IS THE SECOND LONGEST STREAK WE’VE HAD ON RECORD FOR JUNE. AND I WAS CURIOUS.
While it will be hotter Tuesday, humidity will still be considered"comfortable" for late June, but an approaching front for Wednesday will bring in a one day surge of heat and humidity before we return to more typical summer conditions to end the week.
