Ian Anderson and Kyle Wright, currently on the injured list, were first-round picks in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
Atlanta has had other prospects fall short of expectations. Outfielder Marcell Ozuna, who was absent during the team’s 2021 World Series run because of a domestic violence suspension, fell short of expectations in a different way.
