The Hong Kong Rugby Union and World Rugby said on Feb. 13 that the Hong Kong Sevens that had been scheduled for April 3 to 5 would be delayed until Oct. 16 to 18 because of the coronavirus outbreak.
“The health and safety of our players, fans and everyone working on the event is always our highest priority,” they said in a statement.It is the first time in the tournament’s 45-year history that it will be played outside its traditional springtime schedule.
