The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide after deputies found a man's body on the High Line Canal trail Tuesday morning.
Just after 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, deputies from the sheriff’s office responded to a report of a man lying on the ground of the High Line Canal trail in the area of East Iliff Avenue and South Quebec Street.
When deputies arrived, they found the man dead at the scene, deputy John Bartmann said. Investigators were called to the scene and are currently investigating the death as a homicide.At this time, no information is being released on how the roughly 40-year-old man died. The Arapahoe County coroner’s office will release the victim’s name and cause of death at a later time.
