Details of crime scene photographs showing bullet holes in the windshield of the Chevrolet Malibu driven by Timothy Russell, who was killed along with passenger Malissa Williams by a barrage of bullets from Cleveland police in November 2012 after a high-speed chase.
The photographs were shown during the trial of Cleveland police officer, Michael Brelo, April 7, 2015, in Cleveland, on two counts of voluntary manslaughter. Brelo was acquitted. The case helped lead to an ongoing federal Cleveland police reform consent decree and a recently passed Cleveland charter change that will give civilians a key role in Cleveland police oversight.
