Hoboken has been awarded more than $6.2 million in federal funding to expand a city park that will help reduce flooding in one of the city’s most flood-prone areas.

The $6.24 million grant was awarded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency , through its Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities program, city officials announced.
