Hillary Clinton: Bernie Sanders wouldn’t be our strongest candidate
Hillary Clinton reiterated that Sen. Bernie Sanders would not be “our strongest nominee against Donald Trump.”
“I’m not endorsing,” she said before explaining why she thought Biden had broader appeal in what has become basically a two-person race for the Democratic presidential nomination. Clinton has been critical of Sanders through the campaign but those earlier remarks were made when there were a range of other candidates in the field. As Zakaria noted Sunday, the only other notable Democrat still in the field is Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard.
