Given the reduced class sizes, a survey conducted on the implementation of limited face-to-face classes showed that teacher participation in in-classroom learning was “significantly higher” compared to student participation.

The Movement for Safe, Equitable, Quality, and Relevant Education, which is composed of education experts, teachers, parents, and students, conducted an initial assessment of the implementation of limited face-to-face classes.

Citing the results of the said survey, SEQuRe Education Movement noted that “up to 38 percent of teacher-respondents said that all of the teachers in their schools are teaching for limited in-classroom learning.” Meanwhile, the survey results also showed that 54 percent of respondents said that “more than half of their teacher population actually teach in person” while 46 percent said that “less than half of the teachers in their school teach in face-to-face classes.
