Another Destiny 1 raid will be exiting the fabled content vault and enter Destiny 2 this year
I’m not sure if I can see Crota’s End returning. Granted, the moon is already in the game, but we’ve fought quasi-Crota what, at least twice now with a “Nightmare” version of him, plus he’s also a boss in Dares of the Eternity. To me, it would kind of be odd to bring back “real” Crota as a boss after all that, and I agree that it might be too much work to modernize the raid for Destiny 2.“We want to bring back a banger. So it’s really about the complexity of bringing the raids from D1 to D2.
I also see it working the best thematically. I have been saying for a long time that Bungie is going to do a SIVA season. We are gearing up for the return of Rasputin in some form, possibly as an exo, and Bungie has heard requests to revisit SIVA loud and clear for years now. I could see a SIVA-focused season launching alongside this raid, similar to how Vault of Glass arrived with Season of the Splicer .
