Reservations are now open for DFW Restaurant Week 2022, an annual foodie fundraiser.
annual foodie fundraiserThis fall, DFW Restaurant Week celebrates 25 years of raising money for Dallas-Fort Worth charities. It was started byThose who make reservations will find two- and three-course lunches, brunches and dinners. About 20% from each meal goes to a North Texas charity, and nearly $11 million has been donated in the last 25 years.
Contrary to its name, DFW Restaurant Week is not actually a week, but rather a month-long event. Participating restaurants can choose how long they offer their special menus, which often feature their most popular items. DFW Restaurant Week’s preview weekend is Aug. 4-7, 2022. After it officially kicks off on Aug. 8, restaurants can offer DFW Restaurant Week deals through Sept. 4, if they choose.
Arlington-area restaurants will donate to Lena Pope, a nonprofit that helps Tarrant County kids in need.will serve a three-course dinner from Aug. 10-13. Starter is a choice of chicken tortilla soup, short rib wonton or fresh pear and almond salad. Entrees include a choice of seared halibut, butternut squash ravioli with duck confit or chili-rubbed hanger steak.
