The final CNN poll of New Hampshire found Bernie Sanders in the lead with 29 percent support from likely primary voters.
The next stop for 2020 candidates in the Democratic primary is New Hampshire, where residents will vote Tuesday on their preference for the party's presidential nominee.
But former South Bend, Indiana, mayor Pete Buttigieg could give Sanders a run for his money. Buttigieg, the youngest candidate in the race, has also been riding the momentum from his delegate victory in Iowa and has surged to second place in New Hampshire just ahead of the primary. CNN also found that nearly six in 10 voters think Sanders is the candidate most likely to win the New Hampshire primary. Meanwhile, just 10 percent said they expected Buttigieg to come out victorious and 6 percent said Biden or Warren would win.
A Quinnipiac University poll released on Monday showed Sanders on top with 25 percent support from Democratic voters. The Vermont senator had an 8-point lead over Biden and a 10-point lead over former New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg, who rose significantly to capture the third-place position in the survey.also found Sanders overtaking Biden for the first time in the Democratic race.
