Metro Pacific Investments Corporation's mWell, the country's first fully integrated and fully digital health and wellness app, now enables the delivery of healthcare services to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their families via a partnership with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).
Following the contract signing and breaking barriers through digital healthcare, mWell will provide over 1.8 million OFWs with 24/7 access to family doctors, specialists and mental health experts. Wherever they may be, OFWs may choose from hundreds of highly-trained Filipino partner-doctors on the app, from internal medicine specialists, cardiologists and endocrinologists to ophthalmologists and more.
That's why we appreciate this partnership because our kababayan working abroad will now have an app, whether in Hong Kong, Bahrain, Saudi or Europe and even aboard ships and can contact doctors speaking the same language. Ang laking bagay na 'nun.' OFWs are promised a seamless end-to-end journey through the partnership – from booking a video consult or seeing a doctor immediately to paying for the consultation.
