A 24-year-old man was in county jail Monday after his arrest on suspicion of multiple charges in connection with freeway shootings in two counties over the weekend, authorities said.
, the California Highway Patrol said officers with its Dublin office responded just before 11:45 a.m. Sunday to a report of a shooting in westbound Interstate 580 lanes west of North Livermore Avenue.
Other officers were able to identify a suspect brown sedan before finding it moments later in westbound I-580 lanes at Strobridge Avenue in Castro Valley and stopping it shortly after 11:55 a.m., taking its driver into custody.
