Hays County commissioners have approved a sales tax break for a new Buc-ee's location, following the city of San Marcos in trying to attract the company. The proposed Buc-ee's store, known as ' Project Journey ,' will be a 74,000-square-foot travel center along Interstate 35 .
The $50 million project will be built near the intersection of I-35 and Yarrington Road.
