Mujiv Hataman has enumerated the positive qualities of Carlito Galvez Jr. that made him a good fit for the position of Department of National Defense secretary.“Ikinagagalak natin pagkakahirang ni Peace Process Adviser Sec. Carlito “Charlie” Galvez Jr. bilang bagong kalihim ng [DND], isang napakahalagang responsibilidad lalo na sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan sa ating bansa ,” Hataman said in a statement.
“Sa katunayan, instrumental si Sec. Charlie sa tinatamasa nating kapayapaan ngayon hindi lamang sa BARMM kundi pati na rin sa buong Mindanao ,” the ranking solon further said. “Ang pamamahala ng tanggulang pambansa na nakabatay sa mga adhikain ng kapayapaan at katarungan ,” noted Hataman.
