Jonah Williamson was convicted of aggravated assault in the December 2021 incident. Jurors found him not guilty of attempted homicide.

Jurors found Jonah R. Williamson, 41, guilty of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment, but acquitted him of a related attempted homicide charge. After the verdict Williamson was returned to Cumberland County Prison to await sentencing, which is scheduled for July 26.

The victim, Likita Dotson, told police she’d been in an argument with Williamson over ending their relationship. It turned physical, and police said Dotson initially told them Williamson jumped on top of her, pulled out a knife and stabbed her several times. Williamson, with a last known address in the 1900 block of North 2nd Street, Harrisburg, was located at the AmTrak station in Harrisburg and arrested in the early morning hours of Dec. 18.

But the case went forward with based on video tape footage from the motel, the extent of Dotson’s injuries.
