An armed suspect is barricaded in a vehicle after a pursuit that ended in west Harris County, the sheriff’s office says.
According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, a perimeter has been set up to protect the community, and the public is asked to avoid the area in the 1300 block of Westgreen.

The sheriff says the incident began at a different location when deputies responded to a call, possibly stemming from a domestic violence incident. When deputies arrived, the suspect fled, and a short pursuit ensued, the sheriff says. The suspect crashed out at the location on Westgreen.Sheriff Gonzalez says the suspect displayed a weapon, and deputies fired shots, but no one was struck.
