ffered an unauthorized pre-trial intervention deal and the latter accusing them of a political hit.
David Mitcham, Ogg’s First Assistant, contends their attempt to undo Teare’s work has nothing to do with his political aspirations or his decision to leave the office. Prosecutors also secured an affidavit from Broussard’s mother saying that she was unaware of the looming agreement and that Teare failed to contact her — a duty that Teare said is most often carried out by the line prosecutor rather than the division chief.
The mother, Kryshunna Harris, appeared in court in a wheelchair, clutching photos of her son. She declined to comment.
