Harley Quinn has come a long way in DC Comics, and in a spot-on cosplay of her original design, her former evil self returns to wreak some havoc!
Way back when she first premiered in DC Comics, Harley Quinn was one of the worst villains around, made especially bad by her attached-at-the-hip relationship with the Clown Prince of Crime himself, the Joker. And thanks to this comic-accurate cosplay, it’s proven Harley’s evil-era design is a costumed look that deserves the big screen treatment!
Posted on Reddit in the over 37k strong r/HarleyQuinn community, Anastasiya Dryomova aka Dryoma not only looks fantastic in her homemade Harley outfit but has brought the same skill and creativity to her craft when dressing as other pop culture icons, all to impressive results. SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Also trying her hand at costuming as Judy Alvarez from the Cyberpunk 2077 video game, Makima from the popular anime and manga called Chainsaw Man, and even a gender-flipped Draco Malfoy cosplay from Harry Potter, Dryoma consistently comes up with some great designs that any fan of these characters and the dozens more she embodies can appreciate.
Positioned front and center for fans to see Dryoma in all of her cosplay glory, Harley’s evil design is so accurately replicated in this photo that it’s a wonder Dryoma hasn’t been tapped for a live-action project with the character yet.
Finishing off this impeccable piece with a mischievous smile behind eyes that seem set on making someone bleed, this cosplay comes full circle for a former villain who has never looked better. Harley Quinn may be on the righteous path as of late, but that doesn’t mean throwing it back to her original design like Dryoma does here isn’t welcome by fans, and hopefully, future DCU filmmakers too!
