New York Jets edge rusher Haason Reddick has not attended the team's voluntary workouts since being acquired from Philadelphia in March, but coach Robert Saleh isn't concerned despite not communicating with the former Eagles star during the last several weeks. Saleh reiterated the offseason sessions have been voluntary and he expects Reddick to attend mandatory minicamp next week. 'For me, I'm focused on the guys who are here and Haason's a pro,' Saleh said.
None of Reddick's salary for this season is guaranteed and it's speculated he's seeking an extension, but Saleh deferred to general manager Joe Douglas when asked if he thought that was the case. When asked if he knew specifically why Reddick was not with the team, Saleh said: 'Uh, no.' Most NFL players attend workouts in the spring despite them being voluntary, although several might miss a few days or portions for personal reasons.
