However, as workers lifted it into a vertical position, the top third of the tree appeared to snap, and the tree was lowered. However, it did not appear that the tree broke into two different pieces.Bedingfield said an arborist is on site to consult and make any routine repairs, if needed.Ray Carrillo, a salesman with Alamo Crane Services Inc., told the Express-News that it’s possible that the tree “wasn’t rigged right” when the damage occurred. He also described it as minor.
