A Detroit substitute gym teacher has been restricted from finding another job as an educator after she hurled a hockey stick at an 11-year-old girl while targeting another student in a fit of anger.
Cha’Kyra suffered head trauma and received staples at a hospital for a wound. Images published by Fox 2 show staples where the stick struck the girl between her braided hair. As part of a plea agreement, she was ordered to attend anger management classes, according to the outlet. She also can’t work in an educational position unless approved by the court.FOX 2 Detroit
“Her excuse was she was trying to throw the hockey stick at another kid, and hit her by accident,” he said.
