Terry Sanderson, 76 years old, sued Ms. Paltrow in 2019, alleging she plowed into him while they were both skiing in Deer Valley, Utah. Mr. Sanderson, who is from Utah, said Ms. Paltrow knocked him down, causing a brain injury, four broken ribs and other serious injuries, according to the lawsuit.
