By the looks of it, GWM ’s most exported product is the Haval Jolion. It was launched in China in late 2020 but, strangely, discontinued in 2021. That said, it remains for sale in other parts of the world, the Philippines included.
The GWM Haval Jolion is the company’s entry-level model, competing in the hotly-contested subcompact crossover class. As far as we can tell, GWM didn’t stir the pot so much with this minor model change.
At the front, there’s a new grille that replaces the mesh look with vertical slats. However, we did notice a new wheel design so it’s possible that there are other new ones to choose from. As for the rear, the Haval script on the tailgate has been replaced with GWM.
At the moment, there are no interior photos of the new Haval Jolion. However, there are no changes expected to be made in there. But should there be some updates, it’s possible that it’s mostly relegated to the displays on the screens. Engines are carried over from the current GWM Haval Jolion. That means there’s a choice of a 1.5-liter turbo petrol with 141hp and 220Nm of torque or a 1.5-liter hybrid that has a combined output of 186hp and 375Nm of torque.
