Gunman, 3 others carjack woman in Mission Valley mall parking garage [Breaking]
Four people, one of them armed with a firearm, carjacked a woman at gunpoint Friday night in a parking structure at the Westfield Mission Valley mall, San Diego police said.
The 21-year-old victim had just gotten into a red Kia Forte around 8:45 p.m. when the armed person, described as a male of unknown age, walked up to the car, pointed his gun at her and told her to get out, San Diego police Officer Robert Heims said. When the victim got out of the car, the armed person waved over three others from a nearby stairwell, Heims said in a news release. All four got into the car and drove away from the parking structure off Camino Del Rio North.
Police provided vague descriptions of the four people, saying all were males of unknown age dressed in hoodies and pants. The one armed with a gun was wearing a mask. Robbery detectives were investigating the carjacking but had not located the car as of early Saturday morning, Heims said.
