“No matter what happens with landing success, SpaceX will increase the number of spaceships traveling to Mars exponentially with every transit opportunity,” the space company chief declared on his social media platform X, formerly Twitter. , Musk said, will depend entirely on how well the uncrewed flights perform. If these test flights land successfully on Mars, the timeline for the first manned mission will be set for four years from now., then the crewed space missions will be postponed by another two years to ensure safety and success. In the past, the CEO has provided fluctuating timelines on Starship’s readiness.
This breakthrough landing demonstration in the Indian Ocean followed a full test mission that circled the globe. It was the fourth attempt, but it demonstrated that the rocket had achieved a major step in the journey toward interplanetary travel.The purpose is to transport cargo and people to the Moon later this decade and, when it comes to Mars, create routine flights. Starship is also the key component of the Artemis program by NASA which in turn is focused on human moon landing.
