The arrest report described surveillance video of the bus involved in the incident, which apparently shows Ford committing arson. However, while WVCPD didn't describe the incriminating video, the affidavit did detail a separate, more recent incident in which the bus driver reportedly started a fire on a Granite bus he was driving.
The officer reported the surveillance showed Ford "looking down several times at the smoke and intermittently visible flames." "Multiple students are seen covering their faces with their shirts and coughing," according to the probable cause statement, just before Ford is seen pulling the bus over and evacuating the students.
