Grand Oaks student athletes Emma Cook, Gigi Rivera, Lucas Hoke, Triniti Suarez, Hana Banks, Jordyn Price, and Mia Provo particapated in a National Signing Day ceremony on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023, at Grand Oaks High School in Spring.SPRING —The Class of 2023 for Grand Oaks has been a strong one athletically and that continued Wednesday as seven more Grizzlies made their collegiate athletic intentions known during a National Signing Day ceremony.
New Grand Oaks football coach Shaun McDowell took the opportunity to introduce himself to the audience and announced each signee to the table. Mia Provo became the first Grand Oaks student-athlete to sign to a collegiate dance team. Provo will join Stephen F. Austin in the fall.Texas State gained a Grand Oaks cheerleader as Triniti Suarez is now set to become a Bobcat.
“Thank you to high school and my club teammates for creating such a great environment to be a part of,” Hoke said durin his remarks.
