The suspect posed as a woman when contacting the victims, the state Attorney General's Office said.
Keyon Luff, 21, of Edgewater Park faces manufacturing child sexual exploitation/abuse material, possessing such material, photographing or filming a child in a prohibited sexual/simulation of an act, impairing or debauching the morals of a child, sexual assault and impersonation, the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office announced.
Authorities arrested Luff in his Montclair dormitory room in May of this year while searching it with a warrant and confiscated several electronic devices. The indictments allege Luff posed as a woman online and engaged children in sexually explicit conversations that led to them recording sexual videos and sending them to Luff, who then uploaded them to a “popular” social media app. Luff used an computer IP address associated with the college.
Specifically, Luff obtained such videos from three children, ages 14 to 16, between January and July 2021, the indictments allege.New Jersey authorities were tipped to Luff’s alleged activities online by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, a private nonprofit that investigates child sexual exploitation and abuse.in his campus dorm room on similar allegations.He is accused of distributing 72 videos that show child sex abuse via an instant messaging mobile app between Nov.
