PRESIDENT Ferdinand 'Marcos Jr. on Wednesday assured the public that the government is ready to provide assistance to Filipinos affected by Typhoon 'Egay' (international name: Doksuri).
Marcos, who is currently in Malaysia for a state visit, said that more than P173 million standby funds, as well as food and non-food items have been prepared for the typhoon victims.'Tuluy-tuloy ang ating pagkilos upang maaksyonan ang maaring pinsalang dulot ng Super Typhoon Egay ,' Marcos said in a Twitter post.
