Reelectionist Gov. Aurelio Umali on Tuesday led the province’s local officials in welcoming UniTeam presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and vice presidential hopeful Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte at a huge rally in Santa.

She also reiterated her UniTeam’s message of hope, unity and patriotism. The Davao City mayor said those who campaign for the “red and green” of Marcos and Duterte should just throw a “UniTeam burger” at those who seek to cancel them. As Marcos was speaking onstage at the grand rally, supporters chanted “hindi kami bayad!” repeatedly, meaning, they were not paid to attend, contrary to an online story that each supporter was paid P500 for the rally attendance.
After the event at the Umali residence, the UniTeam candidates held a caravan from Cabanatuan City to Talavera.
