Google plans to start enforcing the policy next month, using a mix of automated tools and human reviewers to identify violating publisher content, Google-served ads and YouTube videos that earn ad revenue through YouTube’s Partner Program. Content that will be deemed ineligible for ads and monetization includes: referring to climate change as a hoax or a scam, claims denying that long-term trends show the global climate is warming, and claims denying that greenhouse gas emissions or human activity contribute to climate change.
