Google announced new health privacy features to protect people seeking abortions, including an auto-delete location history feature.

Fitbit users will be able to remove menstruation logs from Google’s health apps: The company says that it has a long track record of pushing back against broad demands from law enforcement. That includes objecting to some requests entirely: The company adds it remains committed to “protecting our users against improper government demands for data, and we will continue to oppose demands that are overly broad or otherwise legally objectionable.”
