Goldman Sachs' Blankfein Admits His View on Cryptocurrency Is Evolving — Says Crypto 'Is Happening'
Blankfein served as Goldman Sachs’ chairman and chief executive officer from 2006 through September 2018, and remained chairman through December 2018. He is now senior chairman of the Goldman Sachs Group. “As an intellectual matter, I can’t think differently about it,” Blankfein insisted. However, he clarified: “As a pragmatist and somebody who’s skeptical not only about the market but skeptical of my own views, I try to get on board and acknowledge that I don’t know everything. Strange things, things that I think are strange, actually happen.”
