We must do better. It will take a collective effort to remedy this crisis. Our government officials must continue to institute measures and programs that combat this crisis. Clinicians must first acknowledge and examine their own biases and how it affects the way they deliver care to our community.
We are visionaries and we are creative. We must reimagine the way obstetric care is delivered that specifically targets the reduction of Black perinatal mortality in New Jersey. We should draw from companies like
