Rudy Giuliani has lost two of three attorneys representing him in the Fulton County, Georgia, election subversion case in the past two weeks.
Atlanta-based attorney Brian Tevis filed a motion to withdraw himself from representing Giuliani in the sprawling racketeering and election interference case on Wednesday, according to a court filing. His motion to withdraw follows a similar move by attorney David Wolfe last week.Tevis's withdrawal means Giuliani is presently without any local sponsor in the case, which is necessary in order to bring in outside attorneys, such as his remaining New York-based attorney David Esposito.
Giuliani, the former New York City mayor who became Trump's personal attorney during his presidency, is facing a number of legal troubles in Georgia separate from the 19-defendant racketeering case involving former President Donald Trump's alleged efforts to subvert the state's 2020 election.
