A 13-year-old Antioch girl was in grave condition after she was shot Saturday night in East Oakland at a home where she was visiting, authorities said.
Oakland police were called about 7:13 p.m. to a home on the 2900 block of 68th Avenue and found the girl suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
There were other people at home inside at the time of the shooting, but police are still investigating the circumstances of what led up to the shooting.Anyone with information about the shooting can contact Oakland police at 510-238-3821 or 510-238-7950.
