Gilmour Academy junior Xavier (Javi) Swinarski is being recognized at his school and by the Association of Fundraising Professionals for his annual sock drive to aid the homeless.
Gilmour Academy junior Xavier Swinarski, shown here with Head of School Kathy Kenny, is being recognized for an annual sock drive he started as a fourth grader.On Wednesday , junior Xavier Swinarski was recognized at Convocation by Gilmour’s Head of School Kathy Kenny for his selection as a 2024 Association of Fundraising Professionals Cleveland Youth in Philanthropy Award winner.
The Youth in Philanthropy Award recipients are individuals between 10 and 18 years of age who demonstrate exceptional commitment to their community through philanthropy by raising financial support, developing charitable programs, volunteering and/or showing leadership in philanthropy.
